On October 23, Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics hosted I Forum of Rectors of Higher Educational Institutions of the Republic of?Uzbekistan?and the Republic of?Belarus which was attended by over 30 rectors of Belarusian and Uzbek universities.

The Forum served as a platform for discussion of the current issues of Belarusian-Uzbek collaboration in the field of education and research and provided excellent networking opportunities for its participants. They were able to share their ideas and proposals on further development of joint activities. ?
Ihar Voitau, BSTU Rector, signed a Cooperation Agreement with Tashkent University of information Technologies and a Cooperation Roadmap with Joint Belarusian-Uzbek Intersectoral Institute for Applied Technical Qualifications. The parties agreed on building sustainable partnerships and developing such forms of collaboration as double-degree programs, academic exchange, professional development programs, training courses, joint research projects and publications.
